The latest version of the hotel software was then installed in 2007 and according to Pierre Goffinet, Group IT Manager at the property, the entire process took a mere one day for the installation followed up by a short period of staff training, so that all could use the software to its full capability.
“The training process is repeated every year to keep all staff up to date, and I must say that once the training is complete, it’s extremely simple to use,” says Mr Goffinet. “This software caters perfectly to our needs and we certainly use it to its full extent. All data associated with our guests is recorded along with keeping up-to-the-minute accounting records.”
